MOTO X REVIEWS 2014

Moto X is very fantastic with a superb spec-sheet and a higher price tag. The smart phone delivers an excellent performance package and its been brilliantly designed with unique features like Active Display and Touch less Control. Only a few things that annoys  us are the effectiveness of the camera and the nano SIM slot which is yet to become prevalent in India.

Recently Moto G became the most recommended smart phones in the budget category. The Moto X, on the other hand, is almost a look alike of the Moto G with slightly better specifications and a comparably higher price tag.
So what are you considering? MOTO G(OR)MOTO X?  Read on to find out.

  • DESIGN

MOTO X is mostly made of plastic but not of low quality. Back panels are changeable, But one has to keep it in mind that it isn’t user removable so one has to get it factory-fitted.A special wood-finish back panel  (walnut and teak) is also available by paying Rs.2,000 more. For now we got the plain white version which looks extremely good.

The display is a 4.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen panel with a HD resolution of 1280x720 with Gorilla Glass protection. Though the pixel density is lesser than the Moto G, but the Moto X has smaller bezels than the MOTO G’s. Its lighter in weight

We have a front facing camera above the display. Light ,Proximity sensors and the earpiece are too included. On the right, we have the power/lock key and the volume control keys. Nano SIM card slot is provided on the left side, the bottom has the microUSB port and the top has the 3.5mm audio jack. On the back, there is the 10MP camera along with an LED flash, the speaker and a shiny Motorola logo

ITS UI & PERFORMANCE

Moto X runs on Android 4.4.2 with a bunch of wallpapers. Running on a dual-core processor, it performs extremely fast when compared to MOTO G. The Snapdragon processor of 1.7Ghz with 2GB RAM and an Adreno 320 GPU makes it even better. So there is no doubt that SoC provides great performance power.

CONCLUSION
Overall if you are thinking of a smart phone of a considerable budget, then do not hesitate to have Moto X.
